Amanda shares how she was able to find her old self again after completing the 21 day programme with Naked Divorce

Before starting my 21 day programme I was very emotional about the relationship breakdown. I was finding it hard to accept. I initially had support from a counsellor. It was good in that I was able to talk about how I felt but I wasn’t doing anything proactive to help me heal either. The pain was just ongoing. This was until I found Naked Divorce. The coaching had a massive impact on my life. I felt really positive from the outset that I was doing something proactive to help me heal. I was so focused on being a mum to my kids and helping them that I forgot about myself. The result was that I stopped doing the things I loved and lost myself. After doing the programme I feel that I am finally me again. I can be proud of what I have achieved not sad about what I have lost. I can hopefully be an inspiration to my kids. I chose this because it appeared to be more proactive. I had tried therapy and while I found it helpful to talk about my feelings I didn’t follow up with anything concrete in my private life so the painful feelings just remained. I would say that if you feel lost after divorce, do the programme! It’s definitely not an easy 21 days but is so worth it. Day 1 is the first day towards your new life. You will find yourself again. I’m so grateful to the team at Naked Divorce, because it thanks to them that I can say I truly have found myself!
