Don’t let uncertainty linger—take a proactive step to gain clarity and move forward with purpose
Should you stay or should you go?
Deciding whether to stay and work on your marriage or to leave is never easy. However, a clear, data-driven approach can significantly aid your decision-making. Our Divorce Assessment offers a comprehensive tool to navigate the complexities of your relationship and provide clarity on your next steps.
You’re guided by a Certified Clinical Marriage Coach and trained Gottmann counsellors – we are specialists in what we do.

The purpose of our assessment is to guide you through a deep, reflective process that examines multiple facets of yourself, your partner, and your shared relationship. The goal is to determine whether there is enough “fuel in the tank” to save your marriage or if the data points to a different path. This assessment won’t tell you explicitly whether to “stay” or “go.” Instead, it provides you with the information needed to make a data-driven decision with our support.
When completing the assessment alone, you’ll evaluate yourself while also imagining your partner’s perspective. Think about how they view things and make decisions. By doing so, you can gain a clearer understanding of whether your relationship is sustainable or if it’s something you might want to end. Your outcome will depend on various factors: the history of your relationship, the compatibility between you and your partner, and any trauma you’ve both experienced. If you decide to stay, the assessment will shed light on what’s missing, what needs to change, and the challenges ahead. On the other hand, it may reveal an imbalance that signals the end of the relationship, highlighting deal-breakers that no longer align with your needs and values.
The assessment is structured around several tests:
The outcome of the assessment is not a simple “yes” or “no” to staying together. Instead, it provides insights into what it would take to save the relationship, including the skills needed, the weaknesses present, and what you would need to work on. Alternatively, the results may highlight significant imbalances or deal breakers that suggest the relationship may not be sustainable in the long term.
You can take the tests alone to support your decision, or with your spouse – up to you:
After completing the assessment, you may realize that saving the marriage would require extensive work—6-8 months or more of hard effort. The question then becomes: Are both you and your partner willing to put in the necessary effort? Or does the assessment reveal that too many areas are misaligned, making it impossible to continue?
No matter what decision you arrive at after completing the assessment—whether to stay and work on the relationship or to part ways—you don’t have to go through it alone. We’re here to support and help you through every step of the process.
